Emma Lathouwers is a postdoctoral researcher who joined the Greene Lab in 2024. Her research combines data science, machine learning, and quantitative biology to study variability and noise in biological data. She received her PhD in Physics in 2021 from Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, BC, Canada. Before coming to CU, Emma worked as a data scientist at a biotech company, AbCellera. Emma is interested in variability and noise in biological data, and leveraging data science and machine learning tools to get the most out of that data.
